Yoga in Daily Life instructors have conducted classes throughout Australia for 20 years. Our teachers have experience with a system of gentle techniques for stress management, back and neck care, as well as practices to strengthen and tone muscles and to calm and focus the mind.

The following sessions are available in either a Workshop or Weekly Course format.
A 1 hour classes over a 6 week period (lunch hour, before, during or after work).
A Course, or series of Courses, follows a set curriculum and helps participants to establish a regular practice of Yoga and assists with the integration of the practices into a daily routine. Courses may be of benefit where company time is unavailable for a Yoga Workshop, still giving staff an opportunity to access the holistic benefits of Yoga.
1 hour ongoing Yoga Class (lunch hour, before, during or after work). Classes are an ideal option after the completion of a Yoga Course or series of Courses, as an ongoing support to staff members’ physical and mental health. A typical Yoga Class begins with relaxation time, followed by Yoga postures and finishes with breathing exercises and a brief meditation.
Learn the physiological nature and effects of stress on the body and nervous system, and identify personal stress triggers. The practical aspects of Yoga techniques are applied to prevent and counter the effects of stress on the body and mind.
Improve your health & wellbeing through an introduction to the basics of Yoga. You will learn a sequence of yoga stretches, breath techniques, and deep relaxation and how to systematically apply these techniques to harmonize body and mind.
Yoga techniques are used to increase the focus and concentration of the mind in preparation for meditation. Basic meditation techniques are introduced, including focus on the breath, visualization and the practice of self-enquiry to observe habitual thought patterns and attitudes. You will learn to manage stress, develop positive thinking & self confidence and increase productivity through the ability to focus the mind at will.
Includes a fundamental introduction to the anatomy of the back, followed by specific exercises to release back tension, promote good posture and to strengthen and tone back muscles. This session enables participants to identify areas of the back where tension is manifest and how to manage, repair and reduce back pain. This session also serves to increase awareness of posture and body-use during work activities.
A lifestyle focused session that teaches techniques in dealing with stress, anxiety and depression encountered in daily life. Specific Yoga techniques are used to calm the mind, develop a positive attitude, increase personal empowerment and renew enthusiasm to face challenges, both at home and within the workplace.
Our Workshops are tailored sessions from 2-3 hours in duration depending on agreed outcomes, time and budget. The content and structure of the Yoga Workshops are formulated to suit the organization’s requirements. We choose educational content and Yoga postures that specifically benefit participants, depending on their roles and duties.
Often the most effective way to introduce Yoga and Stress management techniques is to take people out of their work environment and give them the mental space to fully immerse themselves in the workshops.
Our light, spacious and comfortable yoga studios provide the perfect environment. Each is situated close to the CBD and can accommodate up to 50 participants. We can provide a delicious vegetarian lunch or afternoon tea. The space is available in the afternoons, Monday to Friday.
