It’s knowledge, like Yoga, is essential to daily living. Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga and both are closely interlinked. Through an understanding of how they work together in total harmony we can create a perfect balance in life for happiness and peace.
As any ancient science it’s knowledge holds great value, and during these sessions Pradeep, a highly qualified Ayurvedic doctor (having trained and practiced in Nepal and India and running a holistic natural clinic successfully in Brisbane for last 4 years) will discuss and teach this time honored science, it’s principles and how it’s practices assist us in our daily lives.
A marvelous aspect of Ayurveda is it’s unique approach towards each individual, and since no two are alike the daily and seasonal routines vary, this is an important aspect to understand on your way to achieving lasting health, free of disease and pain.

Diet and Lifestyle. Understanding Ayurveda, your Body Type (DOSHAS) diagnosis and special dietry and lifestyle information according to the nature of your body.
Week 2: JULY 28th
Food and Cooking : Learn simple techniques to prepare healthy meals with an Ayurvedic Cooking demonstration and meal.
Week 3: AUGUST 4th
Daily and Seasonal Routines Learn healthy daily and seasonal routines to maintain balance and harmony throughout life. Learn about different home remedies and therapies for different disorders, pain and illness, and understand how you are you own best doctor, in prevention.

Be Nouished. Be Healed and take some time out for yourself. Escape the stress of everyday life and immerse you whole being in the Yogic environment down here at Yoga in Daily Life.
We will start the day with some light refreshment then move through some gentle and restorative Yoga practices with varying degress of physical strength required, follow that with some Khatu pranam combines with Mantras to awaken all the cells in the body and heal more deeply. Relax, unwind then enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch, followed by a short talk on health and the Yogic diet. By the end of the day, when it's time for Yoga Nidra the tensions will be long gone and you can immerse yourself in deep relaxation, guided through one of our famous tapes. Throughout the day you will learn things that you probably haven't heard before in class, you will also pick up some cleansing techniques that can be used every day of your life and go home with a full tummy and soul and notes to reflect back on what you've learnt throughout that day.
