Construction starts on next phase of school building
Great news from Jadan is that construction started on the next phase of the school building. The building will have an extra 32 classrooms which means that the school will eventually be able to cater for over 1700 students!!

Swami Phul Puriji giving tilic to all those present for the PujaIn May 2006 the Ashram started the construction of a new school building on the site on the Jadan village side of the Ashram. The school building should be completed within 8 months and it will accommodate 700 students.

 

Classes will be from Kindergarten up till 12th Class. The building will be made with two sections, one for Primary and one for Secondary. In the middle will be a central hall for assembly and functions.

 

At present the school has 350 students from KG till 11th class. The classes are being held in the Swastika building. When the school is ready the entire Swastika building will be used for a hostel increasing the number of students staying in the Ashram from 50 to 200.

 

Swami Jasraj Puriji visiting Rajkiya was VillageChildren are coming to school both from the hostel and from the local villages. The Ashram has two buses which are bringing students from 9 villages in the surrounding area. This year one more village (Rajkiyawas) will be added to the bus route.

 

It is also planned to start computer courses this year for students who have finished school and want to do a diploma in computers. Such courses would run after the school hours.
