Page 9 of 10 Pre-requisites and Course RequirementsCourse Pre-requisites1. A commitment to further study and teaching according to the YIDL system. 2. Minimum age 18 with a mature outlook and capacity to offer a duty of care for the wellbeing of others whilst teaching yoga. 3. English language proficiency to Year 10 at an Australian High School or IELTS score of 6. 4. Completion of the Yogic Studies and Yogic Lifestyle and Values Course. 5. It is requested that applicants have been practising with Yoga in Daily Life on a regular basis for at least two years, have attended programs with the organisation’s founder, H.H. Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda (Swamiji), and have the written recommendation of their yoga teacher. 6. Ability to meet the time commitments of the course. Acceptance into the course is by means of a written application, interview process and the discretion of AAYIDL Education Committee. To support development as a yoga teacher throughout the entire period of the course, enrolled trainees are entitled to unlimited attendance at YIDL classes and courses in their city. You will need to have access to a computer and internet connection to complete the learning tasks for the course. Exit PointsOn completion of each module of study trainees will be issued with a Statement of Completion for the subjects covered. For participants who decide not to continue their teacher training studies, there is a natural exit point at the end of the second module of training. Participants who find the study schedule too demanding may continue with a reduced load of training by maintaining the Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Meditation modules. To gain the teaching qualification participants can enrol in a future Yoga Teacher Training program to complete any remaining units of Yoga Teaching Skills.
Course Fees, Payment Options & Refund Policy Course Fees: For each module, completed Enrolment Forms must be accompanied by full payment 21 days prior to commencement of the module. Late applications will incur an administration penalty fee of $25 per week. If total module fee is not paid within 3 weeks, this constitutes disqualification from the course. A direct debit payment plan is available for people who wish to pay in regular installments. The course fees are inclusive of the following components of training:
