Welcome to the Kensington school of Yoga in Daily Life, the largest dedicated Yoga studio in the Eastern Suburbs and a pure space dedicated to the science of Yoga. Come over to our newly renovated premises located on Anzac Parade between the UNSW and Centennial Park, and experience the fun community atmosphere and warm, caring environment that has evolved over several decades. The Kensington studio and its predecessor the Randwick School of Yoga have been the training ground for many famous yogis since 1986. True depth of experience and authentic traditions can help create for you a relaxing and fulfilling experience. Come try us out! How the Kensington school worksIf you are new to Yoga, we recommend a short beginners' (Level 1) course for you. Details of upcoming courses are listed below the class timetable. If you are not a beginner, you can attend any of our classes (Levels 1 - 8). Descriptions of the 8 levels in Yoga in Daily Life can be found by clicking on the levels listed in the timetable. To attend our regular classes, you can buy a term pass, or pay casually every time you come to class ($17/$11 concession), or buy an 8 class pass ($120) that lasts 3 months. The Kensington school opearates on a term system. Each term is 8 to 12 weeks long, and if you commit to a term pass (see the right column of this page for pricing info) your teacher will guide you in a more systematic way to make sure you get the most out of your experience. Kensington Courses & WorkshopsThe internationally renowned system of Yoga in Daily Life ® was designed by H.H. Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda to progressively prepare the body and mind, starting with simple exercises that gradually lead to the more advanced. The System is an authentic and holistic system of practices which includes physical exercises, breathing, relaxation and meditation. Please see our timetable for the many class options.
