Ingredients for 4 Portions:
1 kg granny smith apples
250 grams sugar & cinnamon
For the pastry:
500 grams self-raising flour
250 grams un-salted butter 1 pinch salt 1 cup sour cream |

Preparation:
For the pastry
Mix the ingredients and roll out into 2 sheets.
For the apple mixture
Shred and cook the apples (peeled and seeded) with the sugar and cinnamon.
Place the apple between the 2 sheets in a buttered baking tray. Prick the top sheet with fork and bake it on 190 degrees until golden brown.
Allow to cool.
Sift icing sugar on top and serve. |
