Easy Curry Sauce

Ingredients for 4 Portions:

2 tbsp olive oil 9or ghee)

1/2 tsp black mustard seeds

1 medium onion, roughly choppes

1 tsp crushed (or grated) ginger

1 tsp tumeric powder

1 tsp garam masala powder

1 large red chili, roughly chopped

1/2 cup coconut cream

salt to taste

 

 
Preparation:
Fry black mustard seeds in oil and when they start dancing add onion and ginger. Fry another 2 minutes.
Add turmeric, garam masala, chili and fry another minute. 
Pour in coconut cream and on low heat cook for 5 minutes.
Transfer into a blender and blend until smooth. 
Adjust with salt and serve on rice and steamed veggies.

 

 
Notes:
leave out the onion for more satvic sauce.
