Cherry Choc Balls

Ingredients for 10 Portions:

½ kg ground plain biscuits
Tbsp cacao powder
1 jar (700 gm) pitted Morello cherries
with syrup
3 Tbsp apricot jam
Desiccated coconut

Chocolate sauce

200 ml cream
50 ml milk
200 gm dark chocolate chopped
20 gm cocoa powder

 

 
Preparation:

Mix the ingredients in a bowl and let it set for 10 minutes. If too dry add more syrup but it should stay solid and soft.
Take a handful of mixed ingredients and roll into a ball with your wet hands.
Poke one of your fingers in it and place a cherry into the middle of the ball and roll again.
Finally roll it into desiccated coconut to coat it.
Repeat until you used all remaining mixed ingredients.
Serve next day when it's softer with chocolate sauce.

Chocolate sauce

Bring the cream and milk to boil.
Remove from the heat and whisk in the chocolate and cocoa powder.
